July Vacation in Colorado!!!!!

This Fourth of July we got a chance to take a short family vacation to Colorado where Mike's sister and brother-in-law live. Here are a few pictures from the things we did while we were there. The day we got there we went to the amusement park, Elitch Gardens. They had a nice kid are so everyone got to do something. It was a little hot that day so the water rides were also a lot of fun.

For the Fouth we went to Georgetown. The most picturesque town you will ever find. It is an old Victorian era town with beautiful little restored homes and a perfest little mainstreet. The kids had a blast getting tons of candy. And after the parade we had a picnic in the park and then got ice cream from the little ice cream parlor. After wards we went for a drive in the mountains and the kids threw rocks into the lake. We went for a little walk and then we all tried to get Roni and Coleman's car started. Thankfully a nice man helped us get it jumped and we headed back to the house. After a new battery it started up no problem!!! Then that night we went to the fireworks. The kids were more interested in their glowsticks than anything but in the end we all had a great Fouth of July......

Go Rockies! Roni and Coleman were nice enough to buy everyone tickets to a Rockies game that weekend. We had a lot of fun and Brandon was excited because he got a baseball with the team logo on it.

Show Low Days 2008

Goompa decided it would be fun to go to Show Low Days last Saturday with Amy and the kids and check out the car show since he and Brandon are such car buffs. There was a lot to do there and the kids had so much fun. They went in the petting zoo, checked out all the cars at the car show, live music, food, vendors, inflatables and a whole lot more. Amy forgot the stroller so she got a workout carrying Tyler the whole time but all in all it was a great day. Here are a few pictures from that day and a few more.......

A Family Afternoon in the Mountains

Since we have moved home we have'nt had a lot of opportunities to enjoy the beautiful scenery that surrounds us. We went on Escudilla the other day and it was so pretty up there but there were still a few patches of snow in shady areas. For the most part though, it was a fun afternoon.
Right as we got to the base of the mountain we saw a heard of deer grazing off to the side. They must have been used to people because when we stopped to get a picture they just stared at us and went about their business.

How beautiful is that view?!

Everyone has to learn how to throw rocks in the water...

Tyler loved to be able to walk around by herself and check things out.
Look at all this water!!!!!!

They had so much fun hanging out with mom and dad at the lake. It was so gorgeous that day and the fish were jumping all over the place. Next time we will definitely have our fishing poles ready to go!!!

First Easter in RV!!

Yay! Our first Easter back at home. It was surprisingly a really nice day so we spent the majority of our time outside. The kids had a blast and were so excited that the Easter Bunny had paid them a visit!

Here they are in their new Easter outfits! Thanks Gooma!
Yeah! Look at all we got!!
Tyler was really into the Easter egg hunt! She got so excited whenever she found another egg. They dumped all their eggs out at the end and she started smiling and talking away because she thouhgt she had found a bunch more Easter eggs!!

Brandon thought it was a lot of fun finding all the eggs he decorated!

Having fun on Easter!!

We had a little BBQ after the egg hunt. Brandon had his bike outside so Tyler thought it would be fun to tak a spin on it!

Spring? Maybe?

For anyone who has ever lived around here knows how long winter can be. The last few weeks have been off and on, nice and sunny one day and the next comes a blizzard. Yesterday was so nice we had to take advantage of the sunshine.
