A Family Afternoon in the Mountains

Since we have moved home we have'nt had a lot of opportunities to enjoy the beautiful scenery that surrounds us. We went on Escudilla the other day and it was so pretty up there but there were still a few patches of snow in shady areas. For the most part though, it was a fun afternoon.
Right as we got to the base of the mountain we saw a heard of deer grazing off to the side. They must have been used to people because when we stopped to get a picture they just stared at us and went about their business.

They had so much fun hanging out with mom and dad at the lake. It was so gorgeous that day and the fish were jumping all over the place. Next time we will definitely have our fishing poles ready to go!!!

First Easter in RV!!

Yay! Our first Easter back at home. It was surprisingly a really nice day so we spent the majority of our time outside. The kids had a blast and were so excited that the Easter Bunny had paid them a visit!

Tyler was really into the Easter egg hunt! She got so excited whenever she found another egg. They dumped all their eggs out at the end and she started smiling and talking away because she thouhgt she had found a bunch more Easter eggs!!

We had a little BBQ after the egg hunt. Brandon had his bike outside so Tyler thought it would be fun to tak a spin on it!

Spring? Maybe?

For anyone who has ever lived around here knows how long winter can be. The last few weeks have been off and on, nice and sunny one day and the next comes a blizzard. Yesterday was so nice we had to take advantage of the sunshine.

We made it through the first year!!!YAY!!!! She is growing way too fast for our liking but it has been so much fun to watch this whole first year. We had to plan her party a week after her actual birthday so we had cake on the BIG day and them had her party the following weekend. She loved the cake. Especially getting it twice!!!The party was a lot of fun and she enjoyed all the attention!!!!!

Brandon loves to cook so he got to help me make Tyler's cake!!

She loved her unicorn! She gave it kisses fisrt thing. And she even got a bigger unicorn so now the baby one has a mommy!!! Her first birthday was so much fun. We are looking forward to seeing both of them grow over the next year!!!!

Almost 4-1/2 years

3. How long did we date?
9 months. He was in Basic Training for half of that time so it was a long distance relationship:)

4.Who said "I love You" first?

He did. At the "bachelor pad".

5.Who is taller?

Mike is but only by about an inch.

6. Who can sing better?

Neither of us have a gift for singing really. But its fun to sing to the radio!

7.Who is smarter?

We both have areas where one knows more than the other. He knows everything about sports and things like that but I love history and cooking.

8.Who does the laundry?

I do most of the time but somedays i will come home from work and he has washed a few loads, which is great. I love it!

9. Who pays the bills?

I do. I have a system......

10.Who sleeps on the right side of the bed?

Me. It has been like that forever.

11.Who mows the lawn?

This is the first year we have ever had a yard but I am gonna take a guess and say Mike will.;)

12.Who cooks dinner?
I do most of the time. Sometimes When i have to work he whips something up but usually i try and have dinner done before i leave.

13.Who drives?

Most of the time he does. I don't mind driving but i would rather be the passenger, and he also like to have control of the vehicle.

Winter in the White Mountains!!!

With all the snow that we have had lately, we decided it would be fun to take the kids to the sled hill for the first time ever. They had so much fun and Brandon got brave and decided he would go by himself even.

Then he decided it would be fun to ramp it.
Tyler had to take a ride too.....Then she got cold so her and Mommy went back to the truck for a break and a snack.Isn't she cute!!!!That is Amy, Brandon and Tyler sandwiched in between at the top of a smaller hill.The last tumble before we called it a day. We'll definitely have to do it again before the snow melts. The kids (especially Brandon) had a blast!!!!

The Big 4!!!!!!

Well Brandon turned 4 the beginning of the month and we had a big party for him since we were finally home for the occasion! He was so excited that all we heard about for days was his party. The theme was cars and trucks so he had a monster truck pinata.

He was all excited and when everyone started singing he wasn't so sure about it all.

Amy made a truck cake to go along with the theme. Brandon thought it was pretty cool.

No where are a few pictures from other things. For Halloween we all dressed up but then before we left Mike thought it was wierd and changed back into normal clothes. A zombie, an angel, a flapper and a Jedi. ( What a combination)

Afew days ago we found Tyler had learned to sit up in her crib. The nthe other night we watched her pull herself all the way up to standing position. She thinks she is all big now that she can do all that.

A Drive In the Mountains

Since we havent been up in the mountains in quite a while we decided to take a drive since we were all finally at home at one time. It was so nice that day and the kids had a lot of fun. Brandon loves pictures and he had a blast tromping around the mountain.
Tyler even likes the outdoors. She always laughs and kicks whenever we take her out.

So we've been super busy since we moved and haven't had a lot of time for things liek the computer. Today I had a little extra time before work and decided to add a few new photos for everyone to see. She loves her food. She especially likes to hang out and eat a cookie every once in a while.
